Weekday-only scheduling is here

One of the first things people set up in RotaHog is a daily standup rotation. You create it, add your team, pick "Daily," and you're done. Except... Saturday morning, someone gets a reminder. Then Sunday too.

Daily means every day. And most team tasks are really Monday-to-Friday tasks.

This was probably our most requested feature. So we fixed it.

A new frequency option

When you create a rotation, you'll now see "Every weekday (Mon-Fri)" in the frequency dropdown, right between "Daily" and "Weekly."

Pick it and RotaHog will only create turns on Monday through Friday. No turns on weekends, no reminders, no awkward Saturday pings. The member rotation continues seamlessly: if Alice has Friday and Bob is next, Bob gets Monday.

Daily still means daily

We kept "Daily" for rotations that genuinely need every day. Cooking duties with your roommate, walking the dog, taking out the trash. Both options are there so you can pick what fits.

We also updated our workplace templates. Clicking "Daily standup facilitator" or "Reception coverage" now selects "Every weekday" by default. Household templates like "Pet feeding" stay on daily.

Free for everyone

Weekday scheduling is available on all plans, including free. We think of it as scheduling correctness, not a premium feature. If you're using RotaHog for your team's standup, it should just work without weekend noise.
